Last week the JVN released a report on a claimed cross-site request forgery (CSRF) in the WordPress plugin Browser and Operating System Finder that was discovered by “imai shinpei of Cryptography Laboratory,Department of Information and Communication Engineering,Tokyo Denki University”. What we found when looking at the changes that were supposed to fix this is that the issue was more significant and hasn’t been fully resolved.
